Giovanni was admitted as a solicitor in 1995 and has developed a wealth of business and community experience through his teaching career before entering the legal profession and also in dealings with the Italian Community. Giovanni is fluent in the Italian Language. Giovanni has practiced extensively in the areas of commercial and property law and is a member of numerous professional and community organizations. Giovanni also teaches at the REIQ on a regular basis.
Giovanni founded The Will Registry in 2009. Fabio has been a Partner at Porta Lawyers since 2014.
He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Queensland Supreme Court and the Australian High Court in November 2008.
Fabio practices in the areas of commercial and business law, including intellectual property, import and export, contract drafting and litigation. He also specializes in migration law, visa advice, visa applications, AAT, Federal Courts, reviews, appeals, ministerial interventions and citizenships.
He is finalizing his studies in Master of Migration Law and Practice at Griffith University.
Fabio is a Registered Migration Agent with the MARA (Migration Agents Registration Authority), MARN 0962594. He is also a committee member of MIA (Migration Institute of Australia) for Queensland.
Fabio has established a strong collaboration with Italian Government offices in Australia and within the Italian- Australian Community. He is currently the Secretary of COMITES (Comitato Italiani all’Estero) for Queensland and the Northern Territory. This is a publicly elected organisation to represent Italian citizens who are residents in Australia when dealing with community issues and concerns to be referred to the Italian Government.
Daniel Armfield - Associate and Solicitor
Daniel was admitted as a Legal Practitioner by the Supreme Court Queensland in June 2008 and practices in the Property, Commercial, Family Law, Childcare Law and Criminal areas of our firm.
Daniel specialises in the Sale, Purchase and Leasing of Childcare Centres. He provides legal services to both corporate and independent centre owners through out Queensland.
He is a regular writer for Childcare Magazines such as Early Edition and Childcare Business matters.
His interests include fishing and AFL.
He is a regular volunteer solicitor at the Pine Rivers Community Legal Centre.
Daniel is a passionate supporter of the Collingwood Football Club and enjoys watching the games on weekends with his family.
Kathryn O’Brien - Solicitor
Kathryn O’Brien is the first admitted practising Deaf signing Lawyer in Queensland. She is a regular volunteer solicitor at the Pine Rivers Community Legal Centre.

Fabrizio commenced with Porta Lawyers in 2013. Fabrizio is an Australian Registered Italian Lawyer offering expertise in providing legal services in Italy such as property transactions, estate administration and all aspects of general Italian Law.
Warren Keir - Solicitor
His interests include reading, music (trumpet), rugby league and rugby union.
Warren is a supporter of the Easts Tigers Rugby League Football Club and enjoys watching the games on weekends.
Charlie Broadwater - Solicitor
Charlie was admitted as a Legal Practitioner by the Supreme Court of Queensland in June 2014 and practices in the Criminal and Traffic law areas of our firm.
As an admitted Solicitor, Charlie is committed to social justice and works hard to ensure that clients receive the best possible outcome by way of high quality client centred legal representation.
Before joining Porta Lawyers, Charlie successfully assisted and represented countless numbers of clients in various Courts across the South East, whilst employed with Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Legal Services.
In addition, Charlie has over 20 years' experience in education and training, employment and business strategies, including 13 years in a number of academic positions at Griffith University.
Charlie is also a volunteer solicitor at the Pine Rivers Community Legal Centre.
His interests include NRL and physical fitness. Charlie is passionate about his children and family.

Leanne commenced with Porta Lawyers in January 2001. Leanne works as a Paralegal in the areas of Estates, Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney, Residential Conveyancing and general Property Transactions. She also assists in an Administrative role at Porta Lawyers.
Barbara Anderson - Conveyancer & C.Dec.
Barbara commenced with Porta Lawyers in August 2016. She works as a Paralegal in our Conveyancing Team. Barbara manages both residential and commercial property matters.
Barbara has broad experience in conveyancing, commencing her career in North Queensland in 2000.
Allyson Steele - Account Manager
Allyson has been with Porta Lawyers since August 2005. She originally began in an administration role and has been in charge of the accounts department since 2006.
Her role includes all legal/general accounting and administration duties. She is currently studying towards a diploma in accounting.
