Giovanni Porta obtained a Bachelor of Education from James Cook University (1977) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology (1992).

Giovanni was admitted as a solicitor in 1995 and has developed a wealth of business and community experience through his teaching career before entering the legal profession and also in dealings with the Italian Community. Giovanni is fluent in the Italian Language.

Giovanni has practiced extensively in the areas of commercial and property law and is a member of numerous professional and community organizations.   Giovanni also teaches at the REIQ on a regular basis.

Greg joined our litigation and commercial team in September 2006 after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology in 2006. He also holds a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University majoring in Business Management and Marketing.

Greg was admitted as a legal practitioner by the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2006 and the High Court of Australia in 2009. He practices mainly in the litigation, insolvency, business law and advice areas of our firm. His other areas of interest include the inter-relationship between sport and the law.

Daniel Armfield

Daniel was admitted as a Legal Practitioner by the Supreme Court Queensland in June 2008 and practices in the Property, Commercial, Franchising, Planning and Childcare Law areas of our firm.

Daniel specialises in the Sale, Purchase and Leasing of Childcare Centres. He provides legal services to both Corporate and mum and dad center owners through out Queensland.

His interests include Jurisprudence and Political Philosophy and volunteering at community Legal Centres.

Daniel is a fierce supporter of the Collingwood Football Club and enjoys watching the games on weekends with his family.

Leanne has 20 years experience in a legal office and has been with Porta Lawyers since January 2001. She has worked in law firms in New Zealand, England and Australia.

Leanne works as a paralegal in the areas of Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Business Transactions, Wills and Estates, Minor Debt Collection and general Property Transactions.

Allyson Lees

Allyson Lees - Porta Lawyers Geebung - Virginia

Position: Accounts Manager

Allyson has been with Porta Lawyers since August 2005. She originally began in an administration role and has been in charge of the accounts department since 2006. Her role includes all legal/general accounting and administration duties. She is currently studying towards a diploma in accounting.



Kate Roden

Position: Assistant

Kate has been with Porta Lawyers since January 2007. She originally began in an administration role before progressing to personal assistant to the Solicitors. Kate has had exposure to leasing, property, and all general legal matters. She is currently learning residential conveyancing within the firm.
