Giovanni Porta

Giovanni founded Porta Lawyers on 1 July 2000. His view was to provide legal services with city expertise, which is cost effective and at a location convenient to clients.

Giovanni has developed a wealth of business and community experience, originating from his early teaching career, dealings with the Italian Community and his vast experience in the legal profession. The knowledge, which Giovanni has developed, enables him to be a trusted advisor to his clients, now spanning up to three generations.

Giovanni practices extensively in the areas of Commercial, Property and Succession Law. He prides himself in being commercially and practically astute, which is of great comfort to his clients.

Additionally, Giovanni is a Notary Public assisting clients with the International needs.

Giovanni is a proud supporter of his Italian heritage and is pleased to offer many specialized areas of law to our Italian clients. Many of Porta Lawyers’ clients often enjoy the opportunity to converse in their native language.

Giovanni is a member of numerous professional and community organisations.

Away from the office, Giovanni is a keen musician. He swims regularly and enjoys valuable time with his family.
